COVID-19.

Information regarding booking appointments and other queries.

Both the Green and Fir Road are fully staffed. However, the doors to the surgery will be locked.

If you are planning to visit the surgery, but do not have an appointment, please contact us by phone or email first, as we may be able to solve your query, without you having to come in.

It is now compulsory to wear a mask to the surgery if you have an appointment. If you are not wearing a mask your appointment will be re-arranged.

Appointments

As a safety measure during the Covid pandemic, we are booking telephone calls only with the GPs first.

When booking an appointment please call the surgery.

The GP will call you back around the time of your given appointment.

If you are unable to take the call with the doctor, please re-book for a different day.

If the GP feels it is clinically necessary to book a face to face consultation, then this will be organised for you.

If you need to book an appointment with the nurse, please call the surgery. We are gradually increasing our face to face nurse appointments, so you may be asked by the Nurse to come to the practice.

Appointment Procedure.

If you have been invited into the surgery for your appointment, with the nurse or doctor, you are required to wear a mask/face covering.

When you arrive at the surgery, ring the doorbell, and someone will come to the door to help you.

Your temperature will be checked before you enter the premises.

Social distancing markers have been implemented outside, if you are waiting outside, and there are other patients waiting, please maintain the appropriate distance.
